I have lived in Wisconsin my entire life, so you'd think by now I'd be comfortable with the winter weather here. But, I am constantly on weather.com checking out the hourly details about the expected snowfall. When will it start? Is it a wintry mix? How much is going to accumulate? I dread getting behind the wheel when it's snowing.
People tell me I should just move if I hate it that much, but I can't do that. It's not the simple. I am not going to uproot my entire life to run away from the harsh Wisconsin winters. I cannot-will not-let snow win!
Even though I'm a nervous wreck behind the wheel on snowy roads, I keep my composure and make it to my destination safely. All I ask from my fellow drivers is to drive slowly, wipe all the snow off your car, including the headlights and do not tailgate me.
